05330i is an unknown quantity at this point
Can anyone tell me what the square, plastic, vent-like piece is on the inside roof of the sedan? used It is on the centerline, in between the front and rear seats. I thought it was the cabin air filter, but I just found out that the cabin filter is in the back of the engine compartment.
Thanks.

That is where part of your car alarm is, if you have one. It is a motion sensor. If you don't have an alarm it's just there for your to install one. So you are most likely pre wired.
