Upgrading wheels on a 2006 E90 Wagon

Does anyone know the technical details if I want to go to a 17" or 18" wheel for our 2006 E90 wagon?

Can I go with 4 8x17's instead of 2 8X17 & 2 8.5x17 or 4 8x18 instead of 2 8x18 & 2 8.5x18?

For the 17's I was looking at the BMW Style-161
For the 18's I was looking at the BMW Style-195

I am hoping to be able to rotate tires for longer life while getting the look and feel of larger wheels.
