Uk 330cic Zhp Better?

Hi everyone. I just got my first BMW a couple of weeks ago and have been doing some researching on mods, tricks, hints, etc. I just noticed that the UK specs 'seem' better than the U.S., is this a computer upgrade? Something the dealer can do? They probably can't due to emissions but it would be nice. Here are the specs for UK:

bhp: 231
max torque: 300
city mileage: 21.1 mpg
highway: 38.7 mpg

BMW UK Techspecs

US specs:
nominal hp: 235
max torque: 222
city mileage: 19
highway: 28

Am I reading this info wrong?

yes i think you are.

bhp slightly off, likely due to sae versus din. torque WAY off likely lb/ft vs Nm. chect the units.

also, i think zhp in europe is completely different than us (us pack has different cams, flywheel, exhaust, unique suspension etc etc.) euro zhp is similar to sports pack in the us. what is the cost if this option in the uk?

seems i am right, i checked the uk site.

basically the uk pack is lame, no mods like the us car (standard 330i engine and electronics, sport pack suspension). the us perf pack is a us exclusive option, unless the aussies have it.

Euro's also have another emmission standards than the US spec

Since we are allowed to pollute more on our cars while you pollute more with toxics e.t.c.

northeast and cali more stringent than euro3, about the same as euro4. most cars , bmw included, comply with cali across the u.s.
