tyre pressure control

always wanted a beemer, so just bought a 2003d,but dont know much about them.....slight problem? tyre pressure control light on consol wont go off, well it will for a minute after resetting,then it's back on again, have been told a new set of tyre valves should cure the problem .Any ideas?

Check the tire pressures using a good quality guage. Make sure they match the recommended pressures on the sticker on the door jam. Also check the tires for any nails or screws.
if everything looks ok then try resetting the system. If it comes back on even after that then take it to dealer to be diagnosed.

good advice ,thanks .... checked tyre pressures & reset ,ok now! .I think the garage who fitted the new tyres did'nt know how to reset the system.[I did'nt either until I read the Owners Handbook.]
