Hi,
Newbie here and am getting closer and closer to joining the club with and upcoming purchase. Just curious, what is this TV thing you all are talking about. I don't see it as an option when I put the car together on sites... unless its a part of the navigation system?

it is part of the colour nav option.

Oh man... so I have to think about including this in my decision now!

So what I am hearing is that if I get the NAV option, I not only will be able to get directions off of DVDs, I should also be able to watch DVDs and TV???

Correct me if im wrong but.... The tv module is a seperate item to the
sat nav module... and same with the cd player.
The sat nav has a cd to give you your mapping ect.
If you want to watch dvd you have to have a dvd player, again,
a seperate item.
I have just had my tv module re-programmed to be on when moving.
It does have a slight interferance while traveling. More so at speed.
I know its possible to have your tv working while moving
just by having a by- pass cable. A friend of mine works for Bmw
and can get the correct cable. Its very quick and easy to do
but the cable is quite expensive.... £150 to £200. depending on the beemer.
