Turn signal selector button not working

Hey guys,

I have a new to me 2000 328i that is overall in great shape but could use a few touchups.

One of these problems is that the button on my turn signal switch no longer cycles through the dash display (clock, mpg, temp....). I searched but didn't find anything suggesting if this problem stems from the switch or rather the dash computer.

Are you getting any flashes at all on either side?

Yeah, the lever operates the lights fine. The button at the end no longer cycles through the data on the dash when it's pressed though.

I'm confused what do you mean doesnt cycle??

When you press the button on the end it cycles through various things being displayed on the dash. It'll either show the time, avg mpg, temperature... But now it is stuck on the time. You don't have this feature?

Ok I see what your talking about. Did you try to disconnect the battery and see if it will reset??
