beau is an unknown quantity at this point
I was driving down the freeway and my bulb out indicator came on. The next time I used my turn signals it was blinking fast becasue of a burnt out bulb. I replaced the bulb and when I turned on the turn signal it blinked fine 2 or 3 times then started blinking fast again and the indicator came back on. Was the second bulb a bad one or is this a larger problem?

Did you take the bulb out again to see if it was bad?... Burnt up or something... ????? fast blinking turn signals usually mean it is grounding out some where.. thats just what I've come to know.. hope this helps some.

on e46 it is very common for the bulb socket to corrode or get burnt and cause intermittent probs. inspect the bulb socket (holder) for any signs of burned or corroded contacts and if so replace the socket and you may possibly need to replace the bulb itself again if it has become burnt again from the bad socket.
