Turn Signal

Sorry if this has been covered before. I did a search and got no results. I am attempting to replace the turn signal bulb (front, passenger) in my 2000 323i. The description in the manual seems to be inncorrect (maybe the wrong manaul?). I was hoping someone here could provide the exact steps to remove/replace the bulb. I can't seem to find a way to remove the cover to get at the bulb.

it has been covered..... you have to open hood stick a screwdriver in the hole in the fender you have to push down on a clip its then it should slide out the whole lense

Thanks. It appeared that the manual was telling/showing me that I had to use the screw driver to loosen a screw and I couldn't find one to loosen.

here's the deal... you have to look waaay down in the hole in the front of the top of the fender.

you will see a tab that you are looking at the top of - it is vertical - DO NOT try and push on this one.... it it way past that...

if you use your repair kit screw driver, it will be further down than it can go without taking the handle off...

push down - this will compress a spring that holds it in. it will just slide right out if you have it right...

then manual sucks - it took me a couple hours to finally figure it out (maybe I am just dumb).

this helped me finally get it.
