I need some advise. I had a bad battery and took it to a battery store. They plugged a box into my computer to retain its memory. The battery was changed and now my trip odometer, average mph, average mgh, and clock resets each time I start the car. For some reason it loses its memory. Is there a reset or did the store screw up my computer?

They screwed up your computer.

I broke down and took the car to the dealership. After having to tear apart the electrical system they ended up replacing fuse #33 (which they said was back behind the glove box instead of one in there that I could get at.
Took a lot of labor since their computer couldn't talk to the OBC, so hopefully this saves you some time.
Thanks so much for this post. Same thing happened to me after battery replacment. I had checked other fuses, but not the instrument cluster ones. The third one was bad. THANKS!
I have the same problem with trip odometer, average mph, average mgh, and the clock resets each time I start the car.
I tried all the troubleshooting and came to this thread. I took the glove box apart and found the hidden fuse box, but not sure what fuse is fuse 33 anyone know which one it is, or how to tell? can't seem to find a diagram for these fuses
