Ok here is the deal.

I was driving my car in heavy traffic and had to make a sudden move. My tranny was set in SD. I was traveling about 30mph. I gave the gas pedal about 90%. I felt the tranny downshift, but it must have missed the gear (2d gear I believe) because the tac jumped way up, but no power. Nothing. As I let up on the gas the gear finally caught around 1-2000 rpms. I just had my car serviced today and the mechanics check it out, but there were no slippage faults and nothing that they could detect. This has happened twice.

Has this happened to anyone else?? Or does anyone have any ideas??

No, not to me but I have had to have my tranny's computer
fixed already. When I would come to a light or slow down to stop it
it would kick back almost and you would hear a little clunk.
used
no problems since
