Torque settings

Planning on a DIY front brake rotor and pad change this weekend. Looking for the torque settings for the retaining allen screws on the front rotor, the front pad carrier retaining "bolts", and the "allen" front caliper guide bolts. My ride is a 2000 323i and the parts are OEM. Would appreciate any help or info. Thanks

I've got the Bentley for 99-01. It says--

Retaining allen screw for front rotor: torque to 16 Nm (12 ft-lb)
Front pad carrier retaining bolts: torque to 110 Nm (81 ft-lb)
Front caliper guide bolts: 7 mm Allen head, torque to 30 Nm (22 ft-lb)

Thanks so much Jordan, need to get me one of those Bentley Manuals, would probably make life a lot easier. One more question though, what does it say on the torque for the lug nuts on the wheels? Thanks again bro.

I need to know the Bolt class of the lug (5.6, 5.8, 6.8, 8.8, 10.9, 12.9) and the bolt diameter (m5, m6, m8, m10, m12, m14, m16, m18). The bolt class should be marked on the bolt head.

Couldn't find the markings on the lugs, don't really know if I was looking in the right place or not. Any suggestions? Thanks for the help

My 99 323i has 17mm Lugs nutz... I couldn't find the "bolt class" on mine either...

What is the average of the torque settings on the wheels? I think I read somewhere it is about 84 pds. Does this sound about right? Fangs, I believe mine are 17mm also.

I guess that could work. I'm sorry I'm not more help. I just have a table in my book that has a bunch of numbers and sizes. I would call the Service Dept. of your dealership and just ask them. It'll be easier.
