Top speed in your (E46)

Was wondering how fast everyone on the board has gone?
Mine is a 2001 BMW 330i had her up to 190kms around 100 Mph so far.
Only bought the car a week ago.

105 so far. Haven't been able to drive on an open enough stretch to go any faster.

Funny thing is, I did the 105 on I35 between Austin and San Antonio and I was just keeping pace with all the other cars around me.

120 here. An Acura Integra was trying to pass me on I5 South while headed for L.A. He kept hanging on 'till we passed 115! I'm glad I was in my car and not his!!

I've been in my friends 03 M3 coupe... at 135.... mph.... and about 110 or a little under in my brothers 00 328i....

I have gotten to 120 mph on a 4 lane road in the middle of nowhere.
She was smooth as silk and tracking as straight as an arrow. There were some spots the cops could hide in so I backed it down.

I sat in E46 when the BMW dealership car droped me home, they had some young driver he took me on a toll highway, he hit 225 km/h (140 mph) in 2003 325i, the car felt extremely smooth at that speed. I have done 125 mph in my E36 318i, thats when the limitter kicked in.

On a road trip from Denver to Las Vegas, I've had many opportunities to max top end.

My '01 325i pulls hard to 130+ MPH then the governor kicks in =( ...highest its kicked in is 137 MPH, lowest it kicks in is 133 MPH.

...sure wish they didn't have the limiters.

i know its not a 3-series but a BMW none theless. i was in the car wuith my cousin's 535i 92model (E-34), we hit 240km/h...damn the adrenilin kicks in...its scary stuff, esspecialy back then (i was 14). But the car handled it well, it was smooth, even the window screan wipers were doing a marvelous job at clearing the view.

You know I never do crazy speed when I have passengers on board, dangering your life is something, but I can't danger others lives. Even when I speed over 100 mph I do it desserted roads.

dangerous speeds alone is way differerent then speeding with someone else, it is unchill....

when i was in the military in germany, in 2000 i bought i bought a brand new 323i. I put UUC TS exhaust, ECIS Cold air intake, shark injector on it for the top speed limiter to come off. Ive had it up to 140mph on the autobahn a few times. That was about the fastest I cared to go when you cant really know what the guy in front of you is going to do. It had some more speed to give though. I usually cruised at 135mph on a good stretch of the autobahn and I still saw ferraris blow past me. It was a great experience, excep for traffic jams that happened in rush hours.

i've managed to push it up to about 125. there isn't a straight enough, deserted road in my area to go faster. =(

I've buried the needle twice.. 150'+'ish. Once to kill a turbo'ed neon... second to kill a WRX.

Got my 03' xi to 140mph on my way to school in missouri. had the limiter taken off so i really wanted to see if it was no longer kicking in
