Alright im new to the forum and i need help pickin my next car. I have been driving the 2006 audi a4 2.0T quattro for about a year and a half now and my lease is coming to an end and ive made my mind up on gettin a bmw...only problem is i dont know which bimmer to get. Ive had my eye on da 96 m3's for awhile and would love to get one of those but i also like da e46 generation 330ci and not to mention da new 335. I want either one of those three and dont no which one to choose. i want sumthing sick and fast but also styling as well help!!!

I would test drive all three, and throw in an E46 M3 test drive. WIth the E36, expect dealing with age/wear/tear issues (by the way, you can get an E36 m3 as a 1999 model, and it will pretty much be the same as a 96, but newer). I would skip the 330Ci and instead look at the E46 m3 -- you can get one easily with what a new 335i would cost.
If, aside from performance, looks, and luxury, you REALLY value a good warranty, then I would definitely go for the 335i.

I suppose it depends on how much of a gear-head you are, and your preferences for styling, but I would go with an early E46 (99-01) and throw a few grand extra into the performance. Warranty issues don't really concern me much with these cars.

Why don't you just wait and save some more dough...spring for the new M3 when it comes out.
Just a thought.

those cars are in pretty different price ranges, if you can afford it, 335, i've been driving alot of those lately, absolutely gorgeous inside and out, more so inside though, although like the above post, if you can afford the 335 might as well get a cheap car until the new m3 comes out, because it will be amazing
