toggle switch center console armrest

Just found this forum searching for some info on my 2004 325xi that I just bought.

There is a toggle switch under the armrest in the centre console, it's currently in the off position. Could not find any info in the manual.

Could anyone shed light on what this switch is supposed to do?

btw this is an awesome community.

Cheers
rick

TRuckee is an unknown quantity at this point
Could it be the switch that heats or cools the air flow over the cup holder? This depends on heating/AC setting and I haven't found it too dramatic on my '06 325i. Tom
