Tires for A 2001 325i Sedan - BMW Forum

Hey Guys. I have a 2001 325i sedan with premium package. The car is totally stock and will stay that way. I still have the OE ContiSport tires. At 18K miles one of the tires developed a bubble on the side wall. I guess I hit a pot hole and the belt shifted. I replaced this tire with OE. I now have a 2nd tire that this has happened to with 22K miles. I have never had this happen to me before. Are these poor tires? I now think I want to replace all the tires. What do you recommend? How large of a tire can I go with on the OE 16 inch rims?

two sizes in width, usually (i.e. your rim should take 225). i think all low profile tires suffer in the states, our roads are third world. bad luck....
