I had a flat on my 2005 325Xi. I am under warranty. The tire is torn and must be replaced. I am hoping the rim is not damaged. Does warranty cover the replacement cost of the tie and repairs to the rim (or replacement), if any? Or should I pay from my pocket for the new tire?

Not sure about Bimmers, but most car makers provide separate warranty on tires. for instance my wife Toyota Matrix was equiped in Good Years tires and we found warranty for them in the glowbox after we brought new car from dealership. Contact dealer!
Yea the run flats on the e60 (the dunlop sports or something like that anyways) is covered by warranty if the inside edge of the tire is worn down prematurly and the tire pressures are correct. but the fix is to replace them with the same brand and type of tires. stupid fix if you ask me.
