Time To Trade...

Hey all, I am trading in my 2002 325xi for either a 325Ci or a 325i. So really I have two questions, coupe vs. sedan and also sports package vs. not. But specifically...

I drove a 330 coupe (sports, premium, etc) the other day and it felt as solid on the road as my 325xi. Does the sports package make that much difference in the feeling of a car on the road?

Also, this will be my first NEW BMW, and was wondering how the coupe holds up compared to the sedan. I enjoy the body styling on the coupe, but have heard bad things about the window seals. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Anyone know if the rear window shade is available on the coupe?

I owned a '99 323i (E46) nd then traded for an '00 328Ci.

If you don't need the extra 2 doors, the coupe is excellent. It is sportier, the driving position is a little lower and the coupe's standard suspension is equivalent to the sedan's sport suspension.

The rear shade is available, I have it on my car.

Congratulations on your purchase. Whatever you decide, they are both excellent.

Just be aware that the next 3 series (E90) is coming in 6-8 months, with an improved engine and different, more controversial looks.

Anyone know if the resale value on the coupe is higher? Just trying to justify spending 500 more on a coupe than on a sedan. Negotiations are going well though... at least in my mind.
