I don't know how but there are lots of E90s on European roads at the moment. Wasn't BMW used to deliver the pre-ordered newer models in early August???
How come we see E90s so early on the road. Is everybody test-driving or what?
Talked to the site admins. It looks like the plan at this time is to not separate right away. There arent a ton of e90's on the road just yet and so eventually we WILL be separating the boards but for now they're gonna stay as is. How soon the change comes depends on how popular the e90 chat becomes and how soon it creates a strong need to separate the boards. Thanks everyone for your patience.

How many people out there have the new 90 already? I would imagine not enough to support new administration.
There are not enough peopel out there yet with e90s on these boards. I think it would be to your benefit to keep these two sections merged for more exposure and a higher probability to answer your questions. People generally try and stick to the sections they know and understand and honestly a lot of people whont look into the e90 section if it is seperate fromt he e46 just because it is so new. Just my 2 cents, I support whatever decision is made.

once we get a good crowd of e90 people even 25 is enough for me than i will start looking at separating the two, however because the model is still so new and there is probably not even 5 members here with an e90 its really not worth opening a new forum for it right away, but never fear we will have one soon enough. in the near future i will probably just subforum it so the topics are split.
On my way back from Munich this weekend, I'm flying on the A8, and I pass about 5 car carrier trucks. At least 6-8 E90's a piece. They are being distributed and driven here in Germany. Most of you are in the US, and I have no idea when the big influx is going to come. From all of the good press that the E90 is getting, I would have to guess that when it comes to the states in force, the buyers will come, in droves.

Already happened. We have had 4 new e90s for a couple weeks or a month....and 1-2 are already sold, but being showed for other potential customers to view.
FYI...1/2 of our Sales department is in Spartanburg, South Carolina (the other 1/2 will go when the others return)....they are viewing the new 3-series and test driving them on a professional race track!
Yeah, we've been crazy busy with the new 3-series. People ALWAYS coming in to look/test drive em'.
Your carrier trucks are open? Ours are concealed...until the open the side doors...wierd.
