I am interested in purchasing a 2002 325i from a BMW dealer here in San Diego. The car has 185k miles on it but it the exterior and interior are in excellent shape. My concern after reading through this forum and others like it on the web is that this car is due for a major breakdown. The car fax on the vehicle is clean, nothing but regular scheduled maintenance; this worries me lol. Should I be expecting a series of breakdown on this car. I have placed money aside for this, after all it is a used car and things will and can go wrong; I am concern with the cost and extent of the possible failures.
