Look at this: tell me they dont look like they were made for this damn car

These are style 124 BMW rims for the 5 series...

I would love to be able to somehow put them on

their specs are not that far off
but im not that knowledgable in the rim area....

they are 18x8 and 18x9

They show up with an offset of 20mm for the 8s and 32mm for the 9s

but they have a 120mm 5 bolt pattern....

whats the deal, why cant i slap em on somehow...

seems like people are slaming 19x9.5 and 19x9

slap me in face and tell me already, I cant...LOL or enlighten me with a possibility

PS (Ive searched for other rims that look like this, but there is absolutelly nothing like them...7 spokers with those curves are non existent)

I'm confused...

You show a pic of a 3 series coupe with the rims on it.
Then say that they're ment for a 5 series but that you don't understand how they don't fit on a 3 series...and you did post a pic of those wheels on a 3 series...
I'm just confused

Dough

exactly, I photoshoped them in, and might I say apparently a good job if no one could tell..hehe

yes Ive been testing rims on a real world shot for a while, and I really like these, but I want to know exactly why I cant, if the wheel mesurements themselves are smaller than what people usually slap on their E46s, they are meant for 5 series, but the only real technical difference si the face that the ofsets are off by a bit...I dont rea;lly know what offsets are, but someone in another forum said, all id have to do is is recalibrate the speedometer

what do you guys think?

I dont know what they are....if someone could tell me exactly what id have to do, Id get these rims tomorow!
with the rigfht low profile tires to match, I just am a noobie at the RIM measurements scenario

I need to know, exactly what is the isue with offsetting.... like these come in 20mm 18x8 or 32mm 18x9, ID LOVE to put the 18x8 in the front and the 18x9 in the back for a staggered look, BUT, its ok, if I have to not do that at all, but whats the skinny with the offsets??

what can spacers do to fix it? is my performance going to be affected by spacers....

tell me tell me tell me!!!

LOL
