Did start a thread, but have more info to give now
i went from a e36 to 46 318i, i noticed the power was lacking in the 46, Some people say it is, but i would guess it feels 20hp lacking compared
I have also experienced surges? Sometimes it will just brust into life! Sometime from starting until i turn off, it will be what i would think is normal, and sometime it might just last 10mins.
Iv changed my CCV and looked over my DISA which are working fine. Iv checked all my air hoses, changed all the small ones. I have no warning lights, iv had the codes checked, none present
The bloke looking over it, said the pick up or acceleration seemed hesitant or delayed!! But could offer no explanations at all.......
Im now tryin to check the function of various sensors... Cam, Crank and temp.... Could any of these give this fault? Without giving lights or code?
Oh yea, when i first start my car from cold, the exhaust makes a very grumbley sound for 3mins, and then sounds perfect once engine hot??? is that normal
Any ideas really would be appreciated!! Cus your all LEGENDS!
