Suggest a BMW for me that...

Hi there,

I am overwhelmed by how many different models there are!

I've been looking around for quite a while now for a certain type of BMW.

The closest I've come to what I want is the 320i (but then they look different for every year model) - What would your suggestion be for a slight 'boy racer' look, but at the same time, classy. Also, it has to have a sunroof

Something *similar* to this body, with a sunroof - I'm sure I've seen some around like that! Just can't find the model.

Do you want one with 2 or four doors? Do you want a 3 series only? Your budget will have a lot to say here as well -- not just for the purchase price, but also for insurance and maintenance).

The 3 series sedans from 1999 through 2001 all look pretty much the same (the 328's will have probably have chrome trim around the windows), and then the ones from 2002 to 2005 also have the same style. I don't know if you're looking for anythign older or newer than that.

The car in the picture is a 2002 - 2005 3 series (I can tell from the turn signals). The black trim around teh windows tells me that it was either not a 330i, or that it was a 330i with the M Tech package (performance package in the US).

All the looks stuff can be changed. It seems to me tha in general you want an E46 # Series. You can start looking that way. Whether it is a 320i or a 325i, or a 330d, etc., is not that big a deal. If performance/power, availability of aftermarket engine modifications, or fuel economy are your concerns, then the focus changes.

Just let us know more of about what you're looking for.

Would like a four door, doesn't only have to be 3 series - it's just the model I like.

Is E46 a submodel of 320i or something?

Is there *some* model similar to the 320i with a sunroof?

Preferably, would like at least 2 litre, leather interior, sunroof, automatic (doesn't matter too much if manual).

Does that model in the picture in my first post have a body kit on?

Because some years I've seen of the 320i have quite an ugly back and front (i.e. too much curvature and too high off the ground).

Sorry for being so vague, I'm trying!
