Hi Everyone
I tried search and nothing useful came up. Hope I will have more luck here . I have a ’07 328i and have been a very reliable and fun to drive so far . However when I'm at a complete stop I feel a “kick” , like car pushing forward just for fraction of the second . Sometimes a ‘Kick” is so powerful that feels like someone just hit my bumper. It’s happening most of the time , sometimes more sometimes less, sometimes there 3-4 short kicks in couple seconds . But ONLY when A/C is on… If I turn A/C off ,no more kicks . I read somewhere that it could be a “torque converter “ and software refresh might be needed . Anyone experienced something like this ?
Thank you in advance .
I don't think that is a transmission . Even in neutral or parking is still happening . Feels like when you release a brake for fraction of the second (car trying to push forward ). kick are completely random , but only when i have my foot on the brake . sometimes i feel 3-4 quick jolts . It drives me crazy .
I had a few codes related to abs and hydro pump . they came twice in couple of days and disappeared . 10-12 days later i started to feel kicks more and more often .
couple days ago i disconnected battery for few and jolts are 95% percent gone ! i still fell very weak kicks ( maybe once ,twice a day ) but is't night and day difference ...
