: help folks hello from Dublin ireland, new to this site but just discovered subframe gone on my 323ci year 2000? so now don't know what to do I heard of this problem with the E46 do I contacted BMW Engineers to sort out this and will Bmw pay for the damage to be repaired, they must know this is a serious fault I have the car a year, I have another problem drivers door sticking nearly pulling off the handle to open it which is not right any advice!
what do you mean gone... like not attached at all,missing? nvr heard of that one.... pics? with the door thing what is binding the door againest the car the latch no responding?....maybe try to lube the latch and handles

Yes, BMW will repair it for you, if you are still under warranty.
There have been several reports from other BMW owners that because they were out of warranty, they had to fork up the cost. You can try and get BMWNA involved, some have been successful and some haven't.
