karlsson1974 n00b Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Malta (Europe) Car: 318ci coupé (late 2000) Posts: 11 Photos:	Strange (but annoying) creaking noises I have another question to ask you guys... The car is a late 2000 318ci coupé. I've had the car for nearly 2 years now and have always noticed a creaking noise coming from the rear of the car whenever i accelerate (even slightly) or whenever I brake (it need not be a heavy, drastic/abrupt braking)... I suspect the noise is coming from the rear suspension maybe? I've read that the E46 tends to suffer from cross members or cross arms! (but something related to the suspension in any case)... would u guys think that this creaking sound is from this? is there a way of finding out what it may be? Anyway - THANKS as always!
