hii.. i have question 'bout the volume control on the steering wheel...do i need to make adjustment in order to make it work if i change my factory cd player into the aftermarket product ?? do i need to buy something in order to make it works ??

I have the same problem. There is a an adapter out there, but sadly BMW is listed as one of 3 manufacturers on which it will not work. The stock system is of course a POS. I will check with my dealer when I go in for service next week.

If you REALLY want this capability, it can be done. It merely requires a very experienced install shop and some $$$$!

A dealer will not be able to assist you in this task, as they premote the leaving of the oem deck.
