In the fortunate position now to have a 320cdi coupe and a 330 convertable (petrol) - I can order a new co car soon and wondered what the new convertable and coupe are going to look like - can anyone point me in the direction of some spy shots?

Coupes and convertibles are still available, but for now they are built on the previous-generation 3 Series platform, and are more closely related to the 2005 models, so that the model I send you picture above.
heres a good link with actual real pictures of the upcoming convertable and coupe... to bad the car is covered up, but they are real pictures it seems and the car looks like its going to be low and wide and probably alot different looking friom the sedan which is a good thing !
the pictures on the bottom of the first page definatly look like a convertable with a hardtop on, look at the line of separation between the roof and the body
