spluttering on start up

hey guys, im in need of help i have a 2001 318i and when i go to start it up it idles fine but if i press on the accelerator it splutters like it is struggling to get fuel into the engine or to much air in and choking the engine, the revs will jump up and down, if i press on the accelorator to heavily it sounds like it will cut out, this will only last for roughly 5-15 mins before correcting itself, i have a few ideas to wat it might be but still very unsure and not sure wat i should be doing to correct it, im 400 km's away from the closest bmw dealer so diy is most prolly gonna be my option, any help will appreciated

someone has to kno someway of helping? im really stuck for how to fix it cause i dont think its healthy to go through this everytime i start up the car

Have you checked the fuel filter?

no i havnt checked the fuel filter as of yet, but wouldnt it be happening constantly if it was the fuel filter? like it wouldnt go away after so many minutes? it would always be persisting?
