spark plugs

I was told that i needed to change my spark plugs because the cylinders were said to be malfunctioning or something, so i was just wondering if i change the spark plugs, would i need to change the wires also?

Also if i need to change my wires, would a new set of wires come with connectors like regular cars?

If you have an e46 model 3-series, you don't have "wires" in the old sense. You have coils, which connect to the spark plugs via an insulated boot. I don't wanna know the hassle of having to replace the wires that send the voltage through the coils.
