Snowjob is an unknown quantity at this point
I'm guessing that when I buy my 99-00 323i it'll have all season tires, that doesn't bother me as I'm not overly concerned about the performance in good weather.

In the snow, however, I've heard everyone saying that you should use snow tires. How much do these tires/rims cost (i'm assuming u get both?), how often do they have to be replaced, and can all of this be done without a trip to the dealership (ie. do they have to be alligned or anything)?

Thanks

steel wheels $600, alloys $800. tire rack sells packages. no alignment, just screw them on and drive.

set lasts about 10,000 miles (this varies depending on type of tire) , longer if there is a ton of snow on the ground at all times.
