Snow Tires

2002 330ci with sport package. Currently have 245/45/17's need to add Blizzak LM22's.Same size. Question is... do I need to purchase 4 or will 2 in the rear do the job? Thanks.

just rear will work ok. abs should take care of slowing down....

i used to drive with all seasons and chains in the rear, kinda same thing you are trying to do...

I would go with four blizzaks are great tires however if you have four traction will be more uniform and control is better. The old snow tires of 15 years ago dont have the same construction and grip these tires have. Tire rack will not sell only two they recomend four and most other places do to.
