i'm gonna put some snow tires on my stock wheels to change into in the winter time. can anyone recommend some good snow tires? the snow here usually gets plowed but at least ten or fifteen times a year i have to drive in some mean snow.
any idea which tire would be my best bet?

I currently use Nokian winter tires. I love them, I live in Ottawa CAN. We get our fair share of snow. What I did was buy some replica 17' M3 rims and I put 225/45/17 this way I can rotate them and keep them longer.
Hopes this helps you a bit, happy tire shopping.

Michelin Pilot Alpin are my winter tires of choice. I swear by Michelin.
