A small problemo

Heyall......finally am a part of the Bimmer community.......just bought my second car......a 2001 BMW 325xi.......ABSOF*****GLUTELY LOVE this machine....I dont think i wil ever drive another vehicle out of preference.

Had a slight problem...an embarassing one at that.....

The car came without the original manuals.......I am goin to get one at the dealer next week but right now I just cant fnd the hood and the fuel tank cover release buttons anywhere????!!!! Is it by the drivers seat? On the dash console.... anyways my full tank is coming to an end and I need to fill it up quick. Maybe I am blind maybe I am dumb but can anyone tell me where the buttons for the hood and fuel cover are????

The hood release is a lever that you pull, located right above the driver's kick panel, it is black. You may or may not have a trunk release button that is marked in white that is right in front of it.

To release the fuel door, your car must be unlocked, and then you simply open it as you would a normal fuel door. If the car is locked, so is the fuel door.

BTW, if you register your Bimmer with BMW on their USA website, you can download your user's manual to your computer.
