I was wondering if it was possible to add the auto tilting side mirrors to my 2001 325Ci. It never came on my car when I bought it used, but I am quite jealous of my friend's auto tilting side mirrors on his 2002 330Ci (that point down slightly when in reverse to help you see the curb).
I'm sure this is a zillion dollars to add on now, but I can't seem to find any reference to this part, so I don't know if it's compatible or anything.
What??? Are you sure it's not working in your car????
Move the switch to the passanger side mirror, leave it there and then put it in reverse.. it should tilt down...
I will check again tomorrow, but I remember trying it in different positions because my friend said the same thing. Perhaps it's broken if it's installed on every car.
Does anyone not have this feature? If everyone does, I'm going to raise hell if it's not working because it never worked from the day I bought the car and it went through it's certification process.
Yes, I definitely don't have this feature on my car. Anyone know if it's possible to add this feature and does anyone know a cost? I can't find any reference to this in any parts catalog (I must be looking for the wrong partname).
