| Hi,
I'm new here and wanted to ask if any of you who have OEM rims with wide dish are experiencing pitting. The reason is I have ASA AR-1's on my Passat (don't wince) and I know that BMW's have some rather large dish rims. You know I'm checking them out ; - )
Well my cheap rims are heavily pitted going through one winter in the Northeast. I assume you owners keep your OEM rims on year round? They're saying this is a result of rock/gravel chips and like chips on your car, are not a warranteed item. I wanted to show them if they were more durably built, maybe they'd be in better shape! But I need to see how OEM rims such as yours hold up to regular use. And by that I mean regular cleaning etc...
If you have a pix, please include information such as how old, if used on car year round etc... Close ups to show detail would be great.
Thanks for any help in this.
