It's about that time to change my shocks and struts in my 330ci 2001. I tried to get pricing on OEM parts but searching has proven to be quite difficult. I hear that there is after market equipment I can purchase. Anyone has any idea as to which are these and if they work on my 330ci production date is 7/01.
I found some Bilstein's for around 87.00 us for the shocks, however I don't know if they even work on my car.
Tried this site, i think i might have found them. a lot of the selections though are for 2001's up to 4/2001 and mine is a 7/2001. I have to call them and clarify that. It seems that something changed on the 330 and I don't know what it is. Also when I bought the car, the sticker said sports package, and according to my vin# I should not have that option.
I think that h&r sport springs with something like koni adjustables would be nice, or bilstein sports, I hear they ride a little harsher though, no idea how harsh though. my friend has the bilstein BTS kit, and I wouldnt call it harsh at all, handles great though.

Sachs is the OEM for that car
KYB is good too though, KYB Gas shocks
Sachs are around 140 and kyb are around 60
KYB makes a good shock though, you can use them and be fine
