shifter gets stuck, breaks making noise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hey every now and then my shifter gets stuck in park... its an automatic and i have to like wiggle it around and stuff for like 5 minutes until it finaly gets unstuck, any help would be good about what is causing this



breaks..

when i shifte into revers and start backing up my breaks skweek, not a little skweek but they like scream like you can hear it a mile away it sucks and is embarassing but only happens when in revers and break is applied. i just got new breaks and rotars a month ago and its started happening a couple days after that but it was very quiet and it just sounded like i had to get a little wear on them for it to stop but it has just been getting worse and worse and its got to the point where i have to park backwards in every spot just so i dont make a fool of myself when i back out.

The brakes and rotors may break in after some use.

It's been almost 2 months and I drive the car everyday from home to school to work friends etc I drive alot and they only make noise in reverse when I'm like backing up... When I switch back in to drive and go they make no noise only in reverse.... Any ideas on what's wrong

I'd go back to the brake shop and have them look at it.
