Hello everyone,
Hope you all had a good Easter. I guess I PO-ed the Easter Bunny or something.
Here is my question.
My car showed no signs of any trouble on horizon. I drove it most of the day, smooth like butter. Not sure if weather might be an issue and the fact I actually used A/C for the first time since November. Anyways I was going to run one more errand. I get in, I start her up, and the car begins to shake, kind of like a rocking motion. The engine is making two kinds of noises at the same time, it sounds like a combination of a knocking sound ( as if something was out of alignment? and choking sound, like a chicken bok bok bok. Also the Check Engine Light is on.
I am about 3K away from the tune up and all oil/filters change. I had my water pump and radiator replaced last year.
The car is a 2000 323i Automatic, with 128K on. This would be my first major issue with the car, apart from just normal wear that we all are used to.
Anyone ever experience or heard of something like this? Just to give me an idea. Luckilly my mechanic is only 10 blocks away so I think she can drive that far.
I did some research but at this point it could be anything and everything.
Any suggestions, help would be as always much appreciated.
Thank You All
