setting clock

I was wondering if anyone knew how to set the clock on a 99 bmw 323i. Do i turn the car on without starting it and press and then turn the knob?

Yes, but you do not have to depress the knob. Just rotate the right inst. cluster knob left or right to go up or down. You will feel a detent "click" when you do this, and the clock will start moving.
