I have a 2001 330I with a Conforti Cold Air Intake installed. I've had the intake for about a month and the other day while driving I reved the RPM's to about 5k(which is the higest I've ever gotten it to so far) and noticed a small puff of exhaust fume come out of the tailpipe, and then my Service Engine light came on. A friend of mine used his OBD Scanner and he said that the computer read an instance of Bank 2 running lean. He told me not to worry and reset it and the light went off. The car runs totally fine with no noticable difference. Then today it happened again. Same scenario, 5k RPM but this time no puff of exhaust. The car still accelerates like always and idles fine. It feels no different at all (other than the HP from the intake), is this just the computer getting confused from the intake or is it a more serious problem? |
