sat nav disk 2003-2

Hi folks

my new car is a 318 ci registered june 10th this year

I am the second owner (bmw was the first and I think it got used as a test car)

The dealer has provided the new phone and sat nav disk (which was missing) BUT the sat nav disk although original bmw product is only 2002-2 not the expected 2003-2 version

anyone out there able to help please, happy to buy or trade

Not sure if I will get joy from bmw head office because I can get no joy from dealers I bought from despite handing over a considerable sum of money for the car.

navtech?

all I have on the cdcover is

the digital raod map version 2002-2

part number T1000-5385

as usual bmw have hidden the original parts manufacterer well

can you advise how i can update it please

does your nav system have a "DVD" on it? the '03 nav system is a DVD based while earlier cars uses CD's. i'm sure there are update for the CD's. not sure. my nav uses the DVD.

cd only not dvd.

They will not update it for me (navtech) unless I pay them some money

they do not allow a free upgraded set/disk

only if I pay

tried very hard but no joy.

and cant get entitlement they mention no matter how I try

so anyone one out there willing to do a trade on some mp3's
for a newer sat nav disk please

Hello everybody. I just bought a BMW 316i from 2004 that came with the BMW original navigation sistem on it. I think it uses DVD's. Now... I actually have the original DVD and it's working just fine. The thing is that I'm from Romania and the DVD does not contain a map of Romania. Can I somehow get the Romania map? Can anybody help? Please write back.

I would contact navtech listed above. I'd imagine there is a nav disc for almost every country in the world.
