Fiend4Mojitos n00b Join Date: Oct 2008 Car: 2000 323Ci Bright Red Posts: 14 Photos:	Rubber Odor After Changing Belts & Pulleys I changed the 2 serpentine belts and the 3 pulleys without removing the fan and shroud (I do not recommend) on my 2000 323 Ci automatic. Now I'm getting a burnt rubber odor when I'm stopped. It doesn't linger long and it's not very strong but it's there. I checked for clearance issues around anything I disturbed. I used DAYCO Belts and tension pulleys and a BMW OEM idler pulley. Has anyone come across this?
