I don't know if this is normal but:
When I stop the car and press the clutch, the RPMs drop down to just above the 500 RPM line for about a second and the car vibrates a little. Should I be worried?

What car you got? Inline sixes idle pretty low...my car idles about 650rpm...

It's a 2003 325Ci. It doesn't idle there. It just drops down for a sec and gets back to normal. It's the vibration I'm worried about.

does it always vibrate? ive seen every e46 ive been in do the same thing but never vibrate used

mine, when you press the clutch, it drops to 700rpm and stays there. i guess thats idling. no vibration tho.

the vibration is from the low RPMs. Get your idle circuit looked at. Does it always do that or only when cold/warm? The problem is that your car isn't transitioning into idle very smoothly.

i had the same problem ago a while ago minus the vibration. they changed the o2 sensor. now everythings fine, but im not sure thats what your problem is

I feel the vibration more when the car is cold. It vibrates when it's warm too but not as much. The vibration occurs for a second when the RPMs drop.
