Rough Ride: New Tyres?

Hi,

I recently purchased new 18" mv2 alloys and tyres and the ride seems really rough, is it because of the lower profile or is it the actual tyres Yokohama 225/40R18 92W S306 XL tyres I am using?

Has anyone else had any experience using these tyres?

if you get lower profile tyres the ride is going to be rougher... less sidewall flex = more road feel transfered to the suspention then to the car then driver...

I test drove a 05 330ci that had 19" rims on it, looked GOOD but the ride was horrible. It was for that reason I didn't buy the car.
