Roof liner colour

Why is it that the roof liner is light grey when the rest of the dash etc. is all black? It doesn't look 'bad'....just seems that a black roof liner would look better....espcially with the black leather seats, black dash, etc. It just looks a little out of place to me. Anyone know why it's grey?
