When it rains hard or I rinse off the car with a hose, water drips from the rear-view mirror. The area around the gear shift and window switches gets soaked and I have to keep a large towel there.
BMW agents removed and replaced windscreen at great expense, but did not fix problem. Car been back to them twice, now they want to fit new windscreen at even bigger expense.
There is no sun roof and car has not been involved in accident. Area around top of screen looks ok as far as I can see.
That is what I assumed. Next working day I'm taking car to a glass replacement depot who can remove the glass and inspect what is underneath. Thanks for your input.
