| I've never but 20" rims on my car as that would look really GHETTO! Sorry man, it is my own opinion. If you like that, do it, I'm sure it would be bouncy as hell, not to mention deminish the performance capabilities of your car. If your into bling bling and all that shit, then do it, it'll be expenive and IMO a complete waste of money, especially on a 3 series. If you want to upgrade, you should max out at 18". I've got 16" on my car, stock, they look fine to me. 17" may "fit" better appearence wise.
Don't take this to strongly, I'm just stating my own opinion.
