right front inner fendor sensor

the plastic inner fender liner has gotten loose from the fender and left a gap, there was some kind of sensor that fell out and got broken off from the tire..

no idea what it was or what it did, but i should replace it?

anyone know what it was?

no its a 99..
its also not the air temp sensor as it still shows the temp.
its on the right side under the plastic, 2 brown wires on a plug.

the plastic thing plugged into it was circular about 2 inches around.. with plastic prongs that secured it to the inner fender.

i tried to tie it up but it came loose and broke off completely

It might be a brake pad sensor.
