Reverse Parking Sensor - No Audible Warning

Hi Everyone,

I just bought my first BMW ('00 318i SE Touring) and I am loving it so far. The only fault I can find with it is that the reverse parking sensor doesn't beep or buzz or whatever it's supposed to do.

I checked the fuse and that's fine, I checked that the sensors were making their clicking noise and all 4 are so I think that it may be just the buzzer that is faulty.

So my questions are: Has anyone else had this problem and managed to cure it? Where is the buzzer located? Is there anything else I should check for? Does anyone have a link to an E46 Touring wiring diagram on the web?

I'm not sure why but it started working again today. At the moment I am not questioning it because I am just happy that it's working.
