| Replacement Driveaxles - GKN?
Does anyone know if GKN new replacement driveaxles are any good? I finally figured out what my vibration is. After separating the rear axles from the diff., it was quite clear they need replaceing, as I could barely move the inner CV joint freely in any direction. When it did move, it made a hard rubbing sound, like all the grease solidified. I'm not sure if these are originals, but I now have 170K on the ticker, so they probably don't owe me anything.
I found these GKN's online, but was wondering if anyone has opinions about what to go with...i.e. OEM or other brand.
Due to many bad previous experiences, it is against my religion to buy and install rebuilt/overhauled CV axleshaft assemblies. These GKN's are supposed to new condition.
